The Slovenian Club of Perth W.A. Inc. was established in 1978 and incorporated as an association in 1979. The club aimed to promote the cultural, social, and educational advancement of Slovenian settlers in Perth and throughout Western Australia, linking them through cultural celebrations and social functions. Additionally, the club focuses on passing down old Slovenian customs and Slovenian recipes to members' children. In 1982, premises were purchased for the club in James Street, Guildford. These premises were later sold, and a new location was acquired on Beechboro Road, Embleton, where the Slovenian Club of Perth continues to operate to this day.
The Slovenian Club of Perth is open to welcome everyone, whether you’re Slovenian or not. Come around to say hi, meet new people, and join us in our cultural celebrations while enjoying some delicious Slovenian recipes.
